The red carpet of the 81st academy awards witnessed a great deal of celebrities living up to the latest fashionable standards. Some thought about their earrings before their dresses. Interesting jewelry pieces designed by some famous names in the fashion industry were worn to complete the looks of the divas. We couldn’t ignore some of the most astonishing accessories that took our breath away.

Taraji P. Henson completed her extra-feminine look with a shiny diamond necklace from Fred Leighton jewels colection. While Amy Adams chose a colorful blue and red beaded necklace that caught the photographers eyes. Diane Lane was glam enough with her hairstyle and dress, but added to that with maching necklace and diamond drop earrings.

Heidi Klum arrived with Seal wearing a bright red dress with matched high heels. She completed the look with extra-beautiful beaded jewelry. The dress is said to be by the french designer Roland Mouret. Taraji P. Henson arrived on the red carpet of the 81st Academy Awards in a dazzling strapless creamy dress designed by Roberto Cavalli. Her makeup was simple and trendy, and she chose to match the dress with a mini dark red purse by Mary Norton.

Miley Cyrus atttended the 2009 Oscars wearing a huge silver dress with multi-blue-beaded petals by the Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad. Evan Rachel Wood chose a dress that matched her fair skin color, an ivory strapless swan-like dress by Elie Saab.

The last couple of days were full of major events from BAFTA Awards to  Elle fashion Awards, Grammy Awards, and Berlin Film Festive. And as you we all know, such formal gatherings of celebs require a minimum amount of preparations, specially that celebrities do their best to meet the media icon-stereotype expectations. Some even might concentrate on minor details like searching for perfect jewelry brands, dress or/and suit designers,  makeup artists reservations and hair dressers appointments. Though it might sound overwhelming to some, some find joy in reading their names the next day under a blog or/and newspaper headline like “Gorgeous outfit” “perfect glam”.

On the other hand , or on the other red carpet, some made an unforgettable disastrous arrival. Like the rock star Courtney Love who ultimately never fails to shock us every time. The consistency of her out-of this world fashion wardrobe was reported again on the red carpet of the 2009 Elle Style Awards which was held at Big Sky London in England yesterday. Love seemed either sleepy or sick with that unjustified hair mess and home-made like dress. She posed continuously with half-opened eyes to the cameras who kept taking multiple pictures of her. After she attended the fashion awards she was spotted leaving a private party 5 hours later looking worse than she came. Her black eye shadow was all over her face and she even looked as if sleep-walking.
